Know Before You Go: The World’s Weirdest Alcohol Laws – Review

Getting drunk

If your talent lies in drinking then you might want to know what places will and will not want to see your talents. I’m pretty sure you’re really good at it, but some places won’t be impressed. In fact, you’re more likely to get handcuffed than get handclaps. Before you travel to a place you’ve never been, it’s always important to know their laws and culture; you never want to offend anyone nor do you want to be stuck in a foreign jail for 56 nights like Future’s DJ, Esco. However, not all of the weird alcohol laws are foreign. If you live in the U.S, you still have to be cautious when traveling to Colorado, Oklahoma, and Alabama. You can get a DUI if you get caught horseback riding while under the influence; apparently a horse is still considered transportation in Colorado. You can’t sell cold beer in Oklahoma and you have to be very cautious with your logo design if you have a brewing company in Alabama.

If you plan on traveling outside of the U.S anytime soon, you might want to do your alcohol law research for places like El Salvador, Sweden, and Malaysia. Your consequences range from the death penalty to your wife going to jail for YOUR drunk shenanigans.

But nonetheless, cheers – to the places that allow it.
