The man who created the platform that gave us all things Hip-Hop – the good, the bad and the ugly – passed away in his sleep Monday night. After his autopsy on Tuesday, San Diego County coroner confirmed that Lee “Q” O’Denat died from a heart attack at the age of 43. According to TMZ, he was pronounced dead on the scene after failing to respond to CPR. With a new MTV reality show in the works, Q was determined to bring his weight down from roughly 300 pounds. With the show premiering in the spring, he hit the ground running to maintain his new healthy lifestyle. Reeling in 2 million visitors a day, the hip-hop community is definitely mourning the loss of our brother, Lee “Q” O’Denat.
